I'm working on a 1986 Jackson/Charvel Model 3 HSS and the Kahler tremolo is damaged and missing parts! I don't care for Kahler Trems, and I would like to replace it with a Floyd Rose or another brand, but I'm not shure about the Post Spacing..and I'm dealing with a Beer Budget..not alot of $$$ to spend

My guitar and amp were stolden last weekend, and a family member had this guitar sitting in a garage the past 15 years!
It was very thoughtful for him to give me this guitar..but its in need if help..and alot of TLC...so I'm dealing with what I got!

I need some info/help on this..

I'm not a massive fan of Floyd Rose's personally, but I know that the FRT-100 is a decent price and would give you all the kick you would need from any other trem.

On another note that is a very nice model you are working on, and I would love to see a photo once it is near completion!

Try looking here for a trem

Thank You Phil for the info and the link! We received some info on tremolo post spacing, and I think we are going a
different way then the floyd rose tremolo. I will send you some photos a little closer to finish!
