Hi everyone, here's some 2 videos I made these days.... (my first 2 actually)

Nightwish - Walking In The Air - Solo

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z4-GZfP8Ao4

HIM - Please Don't Let It Go - Cover (my version) -on this one basically I combined the acoustic part with the electric part only that it's on acoustic and improvised the solo. I did this so that the song doesn't seem too repetitive cause I'm not singing... just playing the guitar.

I'm still a beginner so, don't be to hard on me pls (:

Thanks for sharing. Good work, keep it up!

The Strat solo was beautiful, is that ever fun and rewarding, eh? Man, that's sweet! :D

Your acoustic style is okay, but I think that your B and E strings are a little out of tune. In any case, the 1st E is a common problem to many acoustics and you have to stay on top of it to keep it tuned, it can call for attention frequently.

The barre chords and the midrange work carried the tune very well, but perhaps you should go back and re-visit that one?

Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad you liked the solo! As for the acoustic, yea they might be or it might just be my technique cause the strings are stronger and sometimes I don't press down on them hard enough... it's a bit harder for me to keep the acoustic in tune, for the strat it's easy cause I got a tuner but it's a bit trickier on the acoustic... what I usually do is, I try to play something that I know and if it sounds right to my ear I leave it like that :D it's also a fairly cheap guitar but hey! it does the job :)

oh and, sorry, but I didn't get what meant by "perhaps you should go back and re-visit that one?"

No problem. I just meant you could listen and see what you hear, if that's the case, tune up and do another recording? :D

Here's a summary of the jam session I made today with some friends :) it's not that good but considering that i'm still a beginner and the guy playing the bass also, I guess it's ok oh and also it's just the second time we play together :D
