what you did wrong was give up lead years ago.
it is hard isn't it?

once you become more familiar with the 'lead playing fret board' your stuff will become more interesting.
right now it sounds very beginner...nothing wrong with that at all!!!

like speaking playing lead notes should be interesting. giving each note the same weight is like speaking in a monotone.

vary the length of some notes. bend some, hammer on to some. slide into some...all kinds of little things make licks interesting and fun to play.

practice and let's hear more.

Thanks Dogbite

We had fun doing this and I know I am no great guitarists but geez it was fun , the first time I thought it was In E ... and didn't that sound bad :(

But when I worked out what key I suppose to be playing it sounded way much better ..

Thanks for listening

Appreciate the feed back

Trevor & on behalf of the Witchy Woman

Thank you

I don't know exactly what you did wrong but I don't like the end-result:
Error Occurred While Processing Request
Error Diagnostic Information
Error occurred while attempting to open service control manager.

Windows NT error number 5 occurred.

HTTP/1.1 503 Connection: close Date: Sat, 25 Aug 2007 12:33:26 GMT Server: Microsoft-IIS/6.0 Content-type: text/html Expires: 0 Pragma: no-cache Cache-control: no-cache, no-store, must-revalidate

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Error Occurred While Processing Request
Error Diagnostic Information
An error occurred while attempting to establish a connection to the service.

The most likely cause of this problem is that the service is not currently running. You can use the 'Services' Control Panel to verify that the service is running and to restart it if necessary.

Windows NT error number 2 occurred.

Any help?

Excellent advice from the Old Dog LOL but you know Trevor having fun is what its all about. I reckon the more fun you have doing something the more you will do it and the more you do it the better you get.

For someone who doesn't play lead you are on the way my friend.

Gerry

Those who can't dance always blame the band.
