I have a favor to ask of anyone that reads this. Please listen to the MP3 that is linked at the bottom of my post.
I'm a new guitarist (Started in January '08) and I need some input on how this little tune I came up with sounds.
I'd appreciate it if you could take a moment and listen to it. If you couldn't give a hoot how it sounds, no problem. But I'd really, really appreciate it if someone could give me some input.
Oh, by the way... It's a 3.66 MB file, so it may take a while if your on dial-up.
Thanks to all.

You're free cheesy bread! Free, free!
It sounds pretty cool - a nice twist on some basic chord progressions. Nicely done.
There are some timing issues. In a number of places you either lose or "jostle" the beat a bit. But that will improve with practice, I suspect. The overall execution is pretty good, considering the relatively short time you've been playing.
Are you going to add a melody or lyrics at some point?
Peace
Hi Jimbo
Nice - well done for your achievement in such a short space of time. As Dave noted, the timing goes a bit awry in places but us beginners have to have something to improve on eh..
Keep it up.
Rock on!

I'm nowhere near Chicago. I've got six string, 8 fingers, two thumbs, it's dark 'cos I'm wearing sunglasses - Hit it!
I like it! There are some timing issues but I think that practice will perfect them.
Maybe we should start a band... I started the same time as you did we could make some terrible terrible noise together, but we did it quickly so its OK :D.
It sounds very well to me. To add some melody or lyrics is a good idea, the progression is pretty cool.
I like it. :)
Keep playing and posting!
Thanks for sharing.
nice, im looking forward to hearing the post when you have it completely finished. keep work
ing on it :D
"I like to play that guitar. I have to stare at it while I'm playing it because I'm not very good at playing it."
