Hi Friends,

Haven't been posting a lot more often on GN lately. Been busy in job searching etc...

Just recorded a hindi song this time titled 'O Sanam' by Lucky Ali.

Lyrics are here - http://www.allthelyrics.com/lyrics/lucky_ali/o_sanam-lyrics-1121524.html

The meaning of the song broadly revolves around a guy telling the girl he loves that how he misses her and that his love is true for her.

Thanks for watching! :D

That was perfect, flawless! I like it a lot, reminding me of our folk songs of the 60's - usually music with a message for a cause. A love song is always popular and welcome anywhere, any time. But, I guess you weren't here in the 60's?

Good luck in your job search and in getting things organized. It is nice to turn to the guitar and to burst out in song, as a steady constant, even when we're busy. 8)

Like a bird on the wire,
like a drunk in a midnight choir
I have tried in my way to be free.

Thanks for watching, Blue!

I was not around in 60s...lol...I was on the earth in '87... 8)

Guitar is my life long companion. It lets me breathe when I have no air.

Alright..and here is the english meaning of the song -

Hmm .....oo ...

Your memories come early evening and morning
And when they come they pain my heart like anything
Oh darling, I swear to love ... Hmmmmm

Leaving you after meeting you has been so tough
I was so forced in your memories
Oh darling, I swear to your memories ... Hmmmm

The world doesn't understand when the heart is a toy
And now my heart doesn't want to love anymore
Please don't ever make me fall from your eyes
And remember me even if I die ... Hmmmm

You're in my eyes...even though you are far
You're near to my heart...this is what I believe
Oh darling, I swear your love ... Hmmmm

I guess even the English lyrics are really emotional! :D

So, that's what you look like.

You know what, mate?

I watched it twice - it's excellent.

It has a definite European sound to the harmony and the rhythm, and when you mix it with the characteristic Indian melody it makes for a seriously good listen. I didn't bother with the translation, it's a strong enough song on its own.

A big thumbs up from the Essex contingent. More please.

A :-)

Very good. :D

It is difficult to answer when one does not understand the question.

Great job!!!

You know what? I've actually heard this before, I don't know where, I don't know why, I don't know how.....but I recognized it....maybe at my buddies house, his wife is traditional, parents still live in India etc, perhaps it was hanging out with him sometime, it was in the background or something....I don't know.

Either way you did a great job!!

In Space, no one can hear me sing!

Thanks Joe. I am glad you like it. :D

I am actually thinking about doing the song with the English lyrics I made by translation.

If you are interested in more Lucky Ali songs (which I would say are just amazing containing a lot of guitars), you can get his best hits album - http://www.last.fm/music/Lucky+Ali/Greatest+Hits

Hey thanks. Hindi script looks so nice here!!!

Actually, the voice humming is a part of the original song. Its a trademark thing done by Lucky Ali in almost all his songs.

Glad you watched it. 8)
