Edit - updated version - http://6-string.net/music/smiletditt2.mp3

I think I've entered a somewhat creative zone lately :o

I posted my "first original ever" a few weeks back, and since then I have 3-4 more songs on the drawing board.

Today I found a melody to some unfinished lyrics I have had for a while.

But - is this to generic to be "mine"?
It is a melody, and I think I like it, but it is mine?

Feel free to comment
- two tracks recorded once
-and towards the end, it is my 8 year old son entering and putting a drawing on top of my guitar while I'm playing :D

Sounds good here in Miami.
Give your 8 year old some maracas and teach him to keep beat with you.

It's the rock that gives the stream its music . . . and the stream that gives the rock its roll.

EZ maracas = dried beans in a plastic container
Shaken not stirred (007 way)

It's the rock that gives the stream its music . . . and the stream that gives the rock its roll.

Kicks butt man!I'll be burning some cds to take with my friends on holiday, this one will be on it for sure. Can't explain it but listening to this makes me want to grab a bottle of scotch and play some poker at 3AM. 8)

Gosh - thanks man! :-) - "Your smile" is the title BTW - sad love ...

- I don't know if it is comme il faux to say it - but I like my own song

If only I could make some of the tracks again with feeling and without foot-tapping and errors.
I'm talking with a friend of mine to make him record a sax verse too :-)

lars,

That was very nice..it doesn't put me in the poker playing kinda mood but I can see myself sitting on the porch on a beautiful summer night with that playing and....

Nice job!

"It's all about stickin it to the man!"
It's a long way to the top if you want to rock n roll!

You better. If you wouldn't care about your music, why should anyone else? Stand up, hold your head up high and proudly proclaim:"I like my own song, and why shouldn't I!"
