Hi
If you've got the time, please have a listen to "Awaken". It's not a guitar track, although there is an acoustic being played. If you've got any feedback I'd appreciate it.

I really liked it! Your vocals are perfect for the tune - love the beat, great tight recording. Great bass - and can hear the guitar in the background.
Very, very, very...good...no wait, GREAT!!!
What equipment do you use? Is this just you, or others? Drum machine? What's being used real bass guitar, or synth (not that it matters).
Great song. Thanks for sharing.
Love the female vocal harmony as well.
Awesome!
Wouldn't it be great to do this stuff for a living?
Hey bluse sky
Thanks! Glad you like it. I've got a bunch more to record over the next while.
I do all the recording myself, barring the Female backing vocals. Real acoustic guitar, everything else is recorded into a pc sequencer (Sonar). I use 2 Creamware sound cards, and a bunch of outboard including a Spirit desk. I use a Roland EP7 (I think) for inputing the keys, with a Korg 01W and a Emu Esi4000 sampler.

Very NICE and great studio work!
Thank you, I enjoyed that.
Which Sonar are you using? And how many tracks did that take?
Great job, John
Mike
Thanks Mike!
I'm using Sonar 1.1. If I remember right there were about 8 audio tracks and about 20 seuenced tracks.

That's awesome, Great song and the recording was amazing :D :D sounded like you did this in a pro studio.--the dog
Hey smokindog
Thanks! I tried not to overwork the mix. I still feel the middle 8 in this track maybe goes in the wrong direction. It's a bit uneventful, and I've used it to take the song back from the build, rather than continuing it, but hey.
Thanks for listening, and soryy for taking so long to post back.
Cheers
