Here is to you as good as you are
And here is to me as bad as I am
As good as you are and as bad as I am
I'm as good as you are as bad as I am
just added you to my soundclick fav page!
nice pearl. a bit too much chorus for me.
less is more sometimes.
you have nice timing and rhythm.
solid.
the chorus isn't really chorus. it's an acoustic-electric guitar recorded to Garageband through their effect called "Dreamy Shimmer."

FYI, a preset like "Dreamy Shimmer' is completely editable in Garageband.
If you want less of a given effect it's easy to do:
Doubleclick on its name under 'Tracks' and you'll get a 'Track Info' window.
If you click on the 'Details' arrow, you get an editable list of all the effects that went into the modeling of the sound. In this case: chorus, echo and reverb.
Dial effects up or down. You can even save the effects out as a new preset you'll have for later use...
It doesn't have any effect on your original recording, so go crazy.
PM me if this isn't clear enough and I'll send you some screenshots.
:)

thanks! i knew there had to be a way to edit those presents but i'm just learning Garageband. I probably need a book....
sounds like a good foundation being built there..nice sound

That's a lovely guitar tone - what guitar were you using, what amp, what settings, etc?

My guitar is a Martin 000C-16GTE bought at Mandolin Brothers about a year ago. It's recorded directly to the computer (no amp), but through an M-Audio Firewire Solo as an interface. I have a new iMac. I recorded to GarageBand through a present called Dreamy Shimmer.
