Cool, a friend and I have been trying that one...its kinda flat so maybe I need to incorp some of those extra notes like you got going :D

I've never been able to catch exactly what is being played on the original during the 2nd part of the verses (when I'm going to the D during each chord). I think he's hitting the D, but he may just be hitting the 5th of each root. I'm sure the riff at the end of the chorus is correct. What I play works well with my band, so I'm happy with it.
