A few weeks ago i posted a thread in online jams and collaborations asking for people to join a jam using the backing tracks i have been using to practice and learn to. I thought this would give me an insight into how more experienced players would approach one of my tracks and it did. It was a great learning experience for me and i would also like to thank Dan T for his guidance throughout, as i probably wouldnt have managed to finish the mix without his help.
However, i also appreicate this is neither a blues backing track nor is it in A minor (learning these two things alone has been a great help) - so perhaps the thread needs renaming!.
The order of play (slots are roughly 50s long) are
1) Dan T
2) Lars
3) Kalle
4) me (almann)
here is the link to the finished jam and once again, thanks to all the people who joined in.

nothing even as technical as that im afraid - i just plugged my guitar into my mic input on the computer. i am looking to purchase a line 6 pod x2 so i can get a better quality of recording, but yes i agree, it does sound very poor quality (which is good as it hides all my playing mistakes  )
do you know of a way i can get a cleaner recording without forking out the money for something like a pod??

I also heard that noise, mainly at the beginning but I don't know if the problem is in my speakers.
Lars, I like your tone. Dan, your sound is very good (as usual). Kalle and Allmann, nice job.
Good job everybody! :D
HEY you kids. turn it down or I'm calling the cops!
that is a compliment. :note2:
Good job putting this all together Al, and congrats on hosting your 1st online jam! :D
Kale & Al, I thought you both did a good job with your parts, and Lars, I really liked the solo you put together. Very nice tone & phrasing, almost like listening to a little story you where telling. 8)
