Loved Cedar's Blues. I wasn't partial to the piano in "Song for my Father". Great production.

I really like your groove on Song for my Father. Have to agree with Hue about the piano. To me, it sort of stands outside the mix. A minor technical point: Your tone muddies on double stops (e.g., octaving). I think your amp doesn't have enough clean headroom to maintain that nice clean dark sound you get on the single note lines.

Cedar's is good, but sounds as if it challenges you a bit, as your timing and attacks come across as hesitant at times. Overall, nice playing -- I enjoyed it. Thanks for posting these.

Can't say I noticed the piano bit as much as Gnease and Hue, maybe it needs a slightly jazzier sound to it. (Think the intro to What'd I Say...well, thats more of a bluesier sound, and I don't mean to that depth, but somewhere less than that, but more than what it is now). I really liked the song though. Awesome tone from whatever you are using over there, sounded great. Well done.

Cedar is nice too. Fun to listen to, great playing.

Lovin' your stuff pal.

Is that a band you're playing with? Or are you playing all of those instruments?

Nice stuff I liked both of them. I didn't find the piano bad on the second song except maybe at the very beginning it's a little to much.

But I thought your playing was great, nice job.

Yeah, the mix is the problem. The piano is way too loud and in your face on both songs. I like a more natural acoustic piano tone as well. The piano was a little harsh and artificial sounding on Song for My Father.

I really liked the guitar on Song for My Father, maybe the tone could be slightly brighter.

The guitar tone on Cedars Blues was nice. Again the piano was too in your face and I didn't like the synthetic high hat sound at all. I really loved the bass guitar on this song.

Sorry, not trying to be critical at all. You play guitar very well. Re-mix these songs and they will be nice. But get rid of those fake drums.

I like both - especially Cedar blues. You sure can play - great stuff.

Did you play all the instruments?

Wouldn't it be great to do this stuff for a living?
