Well it had to happen sooner or later :o after all these years I have finally got my self a Gretsch. She is a Country Club G6193T in natural amber with a solid spruce top (Factory mistake so they say). It arrived on Tuesday and here is the first track recorded using it. All guitar is the Gretsch who as you guessed is now Blondie.

Thanks Joe she looks and feels even better than the photo's suggest. Had to move my Tom Anderson on which was a superb guitar but we never really gelled together. Apart from the fact I just couldn't afford to do it otherwise and not run the risk of a divorce

Thanks Don much appreciated I think she suits my style of playing as the older I get the more lay back I get. That way we can fall over together.

Looks great, sounds sweet. Nice tone, fluent melodic playing, cool improv....I should hate you*, but I've got to admit, I really enjoy your playing. keep 'em coming!

Thanks Vic glad you liked it :) I think a new guitar always inspires but some inspire a little more than others and this Gretsch is one of those.
Have a good one,
Gerry
