I would try to break up the solo by playing some sustained notes with bends and/or a finger vibrato with shorter , more legato phrases to give it some space and let the solo breathe . This would help it sound more like music and less like a finger warm-up exercise .

If I claim to be a wise man , it surely means that I don't know .
