First original song

Hello Everyone,
I posted this in a different forum but realize that it probably should have gone here instead. Even though I've been playing for over thirty I just recently started writing music. Last night I made a rough recording of my first song and would like some feedback. The recording was made with voice memo on my iPhone and so it's not the highest quality and because I was trying to get it completed and post it for a deadline for a songwriting class I had to be content with a less than perfect take.

Any feedback you can offer would be greatly appreciated and thanks very much.
