What do you think of this lead guitar tone?
It's an older recording on a Tascam 424, but I think I had the mic in the perfect spot that day.

Wow! That's me!
MP1 through a MosValve - what a rig! I had a MB1 back in the day. Sounds very "for the love of God" to me. I wouldn't use it too often but there it is.

What kind of power amp did you use?
The tone on my music video wasn't too bad. It wasn't too distorted yet had great sustain, and since I was playing at very loud volumes, every note was almost at the verge of feedback.

I had the ADA amp, I also had a 500w QSC Bi Amp that I used with it but I can't remember why I'd choose one over the other - its been a log time.
I uploaded this video a while back, but I just realized this past weekend that the recording was from the exact same day as the song in post #1

I was looking through my old cassettes from when I was very young, and I found a cassette with this recording from the exact same date as the song in post #1. So that means I was using the exact same setup with the ADA MP1 preamp, which gave me a pretty awesome tone. The solo is pretty good with lots of melodic ideas and I don't repeat myself.
