Hey guys

It's the first track in my list at http://www.reverbnation.com/strikingsmith - it streams, but you can download any of the songs there if you like them.

If you have time, I'd appreciate your thoughts - song/mix/vox

Cheers

Tommy,

This is amazing. I love it- reminds me quite a bit of The Zutons, if you've ever heard of them. (If not, YouTube them, and you'll get what I mean.) It's quite an achievement you've got here, because I don't usually listen to this sort of music...FANTASTIC STUFF- vocals are spot on, you might want to bring the lead guitar up slightly, but that's just my thinking.

Shady

Take care,

Casey

Good tune. My only complaint, as it seems to be more and more lately, is that it's too loud. Overcompressed. I have to turn the volume all the way down for me to listen to it on these little computer speakers (at work). That being said, if you're joining the loudness wars for the sake of fighting for room on airplay, you're well on your way. A little dynamics is good for music. It would be nice one day to be able to use my volume knob to turn music up for a change instead of just an attenuator.

Not my usual type of music but well done I enjoyed listening.
The mix seemed fine to me on my normal settings.

Good Job

I've been using EZDrummer from Toontrack for all my drums lately. I used to have their DFH Custom and Vintage one, but prefer the room mic sound of EZDrummer, plus it has midi files for different drum beats.

Wow, that was awesome. I really like the vocals. They are perfect for the song. Nice riff, so simple, yet so effective.

Wish I could write like that.

One chord is fine.
Two you're pushing it.
Three and you're into jazz.
