Hey PBG, nice playing, you've got some quick fingers there. As for your facial expressions, at least you have some. Everyone tells me, I'm concentrating so hard my face looks like a rock.

I think you sound fine, but I do not play or listen to any blues. As for the issue with your face doing weird things, this can be considered normal to an extent. However, it is also possible that you have some form of tourette's syndrome.

My web connection is up to <insert here> So could'nt see your vid. as far as the facial expressions go..

Damn it;s funny when i think about it.when i just started playing i was playing the bass intro to metallica's the god that failed. And jason Newsted has this way of pulling is face *bottom lip sticking out about 3CM skewed to the side* ofcourse when i learned it i had to play it the same way infront of people and i still fumbled the notes - HAHAHAHA man i was dumb.

Sorry didn't mean to hijack you Q. MAn unless people say you look like John Mayer while playing youre fine.

BTW the dude can play but damn i don;t wanna see him do it. LOL

I couldn't get the thing to play either. As for facial tics, odd mannerisms or the occasional gurgling sound coming out of you while playing - I'd have to say that self expression is no oddity. You are who you are and unless you're bothered by it you shouldn't worry about it. Otherwise, you know, like go see a doctor.

Nice playing, looked to me like you were just concentrating on the music and trying to feel the notes. We all do that to one extent or another. Just don't start looking like an imitation of Joe Cocker, that would be scary.

Life's journey can be hard at times, but you have to realize that you are the only one with the power make it a worthwhile experience.

Facial expressions? Try to catch John Mayer on TV or something. He says he is not aware that he's making those faces. :)

i need to improve big time, i really don't like my timming on tempo. i was bouncing off a bass lead in my head that had crashs of cymbols to splash and slide in, however i kinda got lost in lala land, so my timming got f*cked i think. After listening to that, what could I work on from what you seen, and who as far as artists should i have checken out by now?

peace

Well now I did get that site to work. My Firefox browser was giving me a bit of trouble with the quicktime sites like the one your videos are on and at wholenote. - Said my browser was missing a plugin but what I had to do was open up quicktime and associate quicktime with midi and a few other things it wasn't connecting with.

Anyways, your face is fine. Your face is just doing what faces do, you look like you are feeling the music. So no worries there. And your playing is good. Well done.
