Hey Trev,

I like the simplicity of this and your vocals remind me a bit
of Leonard Cohen. That phrasing seems a little off at times
But I think that may be an easy fix.

It's mostly the second and third verses that seem off.

Just a matter of removing a word or two and moving a line
like this

I have always loved that song and I play it in my car all the time on the CD I made from SSG writters .

So I really should have given you credit for that , and I am sorry I forgot to mention that :(

Trudy(Don't You Understand ) was probably my inspiration for this unknowingly and not deliberate ..

Greatest form of flattery ??? I am truely sorry John I honestly did not even think of that , I was playing around and "I am who I am " came out and then I just started recording ..

This was done 1 take as the words came in my head , probably why it isn't lyrically brilliant , or muscially fabulous ..

It was Jimmy Hendrix who after listening to Bob Dylan decided that if Dylan could sing and get away with it then he could. The rest is history as they say.

Nice one Trev but and its a big but there really is no excuse for recording a song with an out of tune guitar. Unless of course your famous LOL
