The most annoying song who will listen to

I have done so far and there is no FX , its me raw

http://www.soundclick.com/bands/songInfo.cfm?bandID=490569&songID=5684147

I am who I am
Just a ordinary man
I am who I am

I don't want to be a star
I just want to play my guitar
I am who I am

I know I am not a zero
I know I 'll never be a hero
Most of all

I know who I am
I am who I am
I am who I am
I know who I am

Please feel free to leave a comment good or bad

Trev..

Here is to you as good as you are
And here is to me as bad as I am
As good as you are and as bad as I am
I'm as good as you are as bad as I am

Hey Trev,

I like the simplicity of this and your vocals remind me a bit
of Leonard Cohen. That phrasing seems a little off at times
But I think that may be an easy fix.

It's mostly the second and third verses that seem off.
I don't want to be a star
I just want to play my guitar
I am who I am

I know I am not a zero
I know I 'll never be a hero
Most of all

I know who I am
I am who I am
I am who I am
I know who I am

Just a matter of removing a word or two and moving a line
like this

I don't want to be a star
I just want to play guitar
I am who I am

I am not a zero
I 'll never be a hero
I am who I am

And most of all

I know who I am
I am who I am
I am who I am
I know who I am

Oh and on the second verse; Didn't I say something similar in
my song Trudy(Don't You Understand)?

I can not lie to you John yes you did ,

I have always loved that song and I play it in my car all the time on the CD I made from SSG writters .

So I really should have given you credit for that , and I am sorry I forgot to mention that :(

Trudy(Don't You Understand ) was probably my inspiration for this unknowingly and not deliberate ..

Greatest form of flattery ??? I am truely sorry John I honestly did not even think of that , I was playing around and "I am who I am " came out and then I just started recording ..

This was done 1 take as the words came in my head , probably why it isn't lyrically brilliant , or muscially fabulous ..

No Problem it just goes to show I got the emotion right.

Thanks

Your guitar is out of tune :(

wow man . what a difference. I like your voice here.
pure, clear, effective. you actually have a good voice for singing.
you stayed more on pitch this go.
of course, your guitar had trouble.
it is out of tune.

I like this.

I heard some Dylan in your singing. it was not there before.
you are relaxing more and using better technique.

when I do that some Dylan comes out.

keep it up.

It was Jimmy Hendrix who after listening to Bob Dylan decided that if Dylan could sing and get away with it then he could. The rest is history as they say.

Nice one Trev but and its a big but there really is no excuse for recording a song with an out of tune guitar. Unless of course your famous LOL

Well you are on here I know.
