So FREAKIN' BAD!!! But don't we all? LOL.
A friend of mine William Kok arranged this, and this is my take on it, hope he doesn't mind me changing it up a bit LOL.
It's short and sweet....easy to play....and catchy as all get out!

Thanks everyone for the kind words on the last video! I'm not able to get around here all that much anymore, but am still pounding away on the guitar!

Oh man Joe I just learned the song this week on a whim. I'll have to have a listen can't do it at work.
I listened and it sounds good different than the original.
"It's all about stickin it to the man!"
It's a long way to the top if you want to rock n roll!
Nicely done, Joe.
Man, you've really got your recording technique down these days. Full spectrum, lots of presence, sounds really 'alive'...what's the guitar again?
Keep 'em coming.
:)
Don
Thanks alot!
My motto this year has been less posting, more playing lol.
The guitar is an Alvarez RF8 and cost me $85 on Craigslist. The guy that sold it to me was a fingerstyle olayer so he had it setup with super low action and new grovers. Also came with the fitted alvarez hardshell.

Ok so you got the playing down let me hear your rapping skillz...
"I wanna have a show like Ohpra"
"That I could be the host of"
"Everyday Christmas.."
"Give Travie your wish list"
"I'll probably pull an Angelina and Brad Pitt"
"And adopt a bunch of babies that ain't never had sh@t"
This song actually got me listening to Travie McCoy's band Gym Class Heros and I found another song I like of his called Simple Livin. I love the guitar hook. It's very simple but for some reason I just like the sound.
By the way Joe, nice job as usual but I didn't really need to say that did I?

You're awesome, Joe . . . I hate you . . . Just kidding.
Your progress over the last two years has been AMAZING!
It's the rock that gives the stream its music . . . and the stream that gives the rock its roll.
Always a pleasure to hear, I'm absolutely horrible at fingerstyle. Also really clear recording, loving the song selection too (scrolled through your YT)!

Thanks alot for watching...fingerstyle for whatever reason was a natural progression for me, and I'm not really sure why...but hey, it works out! Thanks for watching the vids on YouTube!

Ok joking aside. I'm watching your video and what I thought was a Mic looks like a small oom recorder that I have also.
If it is how are you doing the video/audio. I know you are in the "biz" so maybe you the editing equipment to make it easy but do you end up with a video file and a seperate audio file and merge the two together in some type of video software.
Just curious on how you make it happen?
