It is with great pleasure that I present the first of the Jam Incubator collaborations! :D

Here is Team 5's offering for your listening pleasure:

titled Jam Incubator Team 5 Collabo - Rock Ballad

http://www.soundclick.com/bands/pagemusic.cfm?bandID=488456

Team 5 consists of:

Dagwood :15 - :57
Alouden :58 - 1:40
Tucker97325 1:41 - 2:23
Khelbanzon 2:24 - 3:11

In case you are unfamiliar with the Jam Incubator, it's a project we've been working on to encourage first time jammers/collaborators to get their feet wet with improvising, recording, and collaborating. You can read more about it here if you're interested in the details: https://www.guitarnoise.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=30248

We have eight teams in total, so this should be only the first of many.

Enjoy!

Margaret

Sweeeet! Really good work... so there's no excuse not to be rushing headlong into plenty of other jams now

And if each of you hosted one there would be plenty of Jams
to go around.

Great Job Everybody :!:

Hooray for everyone involved, it's great to hear how different people interpret this simple track. And I forgot to say this in the other thread, but cheers to Margaret for hosting this!

Thanks, everyone, for the nice compliments! This is a very rewarding project for me.

And, it just goes to show -- if I can host and mix a jam (with a little help from my friends), anyone can do it.

There seems to be a great demand for jams/collabos, and hosting and mixing is great fun, so I'm hoping some new faces will come forward and decide to host their first jams, as well.

The participants in the two jams I posted today are probably ready for another project, so........what say? Who's got a backing track?

Thanks everyone.

Thanks for the support and patience. For me this was a great experience.

When I first got that BT I tried to listen to it for about a day before I picked up my guitar to play over it. I just put it on Repeat then went did the dishes or folded clothes or something to let it sink in. This take, you could probably tell, was only like the third one I did cuz i flubbed a few of the notes. But it just flowed. It was a great almost magic for me hearing it again today.

For all the NEWBIES!! Stick with it.. I'm amazed how far I've come in such the short little while I've been playing, barely three years now. I think alot of it has to do with the fact that I'm learning, amongst alot of other stuff, how to LISTEN to music. Something that I think is real important... Just LISTEN to it let it become part of you and your heart will tell you how to speak back to it.

Thanks Mags sooo much for hosting this. It was so much fun. I want more more more.. hehehehe
