you make me dizzy miss lizzy . 8) great job. love the tone of your single coil (that's what I hear).
what a groove. most excellent. love your playing, specially those slides to a double stop.
you ring the tone out of that stuff.

sometimes the backing tracks sounded like that Beatles song. it was cool how you riffed on it.
I have this downloaded. it is inspiring. :note2:

Thanks. Glad ya liked it. You're right about the single coils -- it's my Strat through a Peavey Jack Daniels, close mic'd.

Great tone nad playing MM! The guitar sounds a bit load but that's just personal preference.Only real downside to me is the backing, at times I wished they would up it a notch or go real slow but it just kept on trucking. But I blame that on the Boss drumbox.

Really great playing anyway, perfect bending and nice grooves. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks Ignar, for the constructive comments. The BT is all me, so the truth is I rushed it a bit, which happens sometimes. Often I obsess about every little thing, sometimes I just feel the groove is there and want to wrap it. The capability exists even within the cheapo drum program to be more diverse, but I didn't in this case, due to impatience. Thanks for the positive tone, though.

Very nice, great playing. You got a cool groove going there. The only thing that stuck out to me was the panning. You might have your bass and rhythm guitar panned a little too much to each side. I listened on headphones and it sounded like the right side (rhythm) was louder and "heavier" than the left. I listened to one headphone at a time and I can hear the lead on both sides, but when listening to both, it sounds like it is more on the right.

Thanks. The answer is a bit of both. Jammed the riff, melody is improvised. Did a rhythm track, then added bass, drums and then the lead line. The lead part took three takes to get right. I don't like and am not good at patching things in, so try to get the whole thing right, which takes longer but feels better.
