Here's just a little medley of different song snippets on my new Taylor Baby. It's a tiny guitar but actually plays like a normal sized guitar, which I found quite suprising! I was expecting it to be a very different experience but not so . . .

The sound I think it fantastic. Obviously doesn't have the bass response of a 4/4 dreadnought, but it's still good and the string spacing is great for fingerstyle.

The playing isn't great I'm afraid folks  my acoustic guitar playing is still very much in it's infancy . . .

The second clip was played using a thin plectrum hence the very trebley and snappy sound, whenas the third was with a heavy tortex pick.

Hey, sounds good! I like your version of "Tears in Heaven"!

Want to do a request? How about "Angie" by the Stones? Pretty song, nice chording, I think it would sound good on that Taylor! :)

It does sound good. It's actually far better for fingerpicking than my Takamine. The Takamine is a softer and warmer instrument which works well for chords, but this little Taylor has a snappy, mid-range punch to it that really works well with fingerstyle. :)

A friend has just announced the purchase of a high end Taylor just a moment ago, so I shall be flying around there soon I think to try that out! Be interesting to see how it compares to my Takamine. I can't really directly compare this Baby with my Takamine as they're not on a level playing field with a different body size, scale etc., but this new guitar of my friend's is a cutaway electroacoustic so it should be interesting! I am prepared to resist GAS when seeing it though.
