Well, seems like folks have liked what I've posted so far so I'm going to go out on a limb and put up another

Here is My Version of Misty, I've attempted to pay homage to the Late Great Wes Montgomery in this piece. Hope you like it

Immature? Of course I'm immature Einstein, I'm 50 and in a Rock and ROll band.

Aha - you got the band in place for this one!

Like the other two, very nice playing, just the thing for late-night listening.....

I'm impressed with the change of direction, from rock and blues to a laid-back jazzy feel - you seem to have managed the transition fairly easily, it'd probably take me another 30 years to manage that....

Good stuff!!!!

:D :D :D

Dude, are you for real? I had no idea you were a jazz musician, and you sound like one here. . Great playing, the band sounds great too. Awesome stuff, very free sounding.

Have you ever herad Joe Pass' version? It's incredible as well.

Not bad at all Teleplayer!

I thought you could use a little less compression on the mix . . . and maybe a bit more dynamics in the playing, but those are personal preference things . . . over all I was very impressed . . great job on a great song!

That was great. Really well done. The sound of a mature player. I am very impressed. There is still some clipping going on I think. The upright sounds great. Brushes are just right. Love that sizzle ride. Keys are nice as well. Woulda liked to hear more of a break from everyone. Course that would lead to a 13minute song.

Thanks so much for all the kind words. I don't consider myself a musician yet taso but I'm working towards it. The journey to get here, isn't something that just happened, I've been working towards it for the last year or so, this was one of the reasons I dropped off line for several months last year but it's a boring story so I'll just leave it at this is something I've put alot of work into and each day I see how much more there is to learn. It's great to be excited about playing again

Tele,

One of my favorite songs and this an awesome version.

I can definitely hear the Wes Montgomery influence yet you
make it your own too.

Love the Jazz sound!
