I fixed the hissing problem, well sort of, so I recorded another clip. This one has some clean sounds of my new guitar in it.
The tone of that guitar at the start sounds a lot like the one from the riff to heart shaped box. Man I love that riff haha anyways, your strumming has come a long way keep practicing!
That guitar has humbuckers right? I really want a guitar with those kind of pickups they can sound so smooth.

Thanks Dneck!
Ok this time I actually fixed the hissing. Went out and bought an adapter and plugged the guitar into the computer. No micing the amp for me.
The cleans are too quiet and the dirties are too loud. Any advice on that?
PS. I posted a recording with the direct line in.
naw i dont know much about electric settings, my amp is pretty old and cheap i need to get a good one and start doing electric stuff. I play at my friends house a lot and stuff they are fun and so much easier to play, i really like acoustics though. They just sound so awsome.

OWA,
Not sure how you are doing it now, but here is how I record, it's simple and works for me.
Amp Headphone jack-> Line-in on computer soundcard-> record with Audacity.
Scott
I havn't found my tone yet, and I have no mojo....but I'm working on it :)
I record:
Guitar -> RP50 -> Soundcard -> Audacity
OWA your line in recording sounds a million times better IMO.
very Cool!!
