Hello everyone,
A couple of years ago and few work colleagues and I formed a band to play covers and make some noise.
After a while we decided that it would be fun to make a few songs and now we've finished our first song. :D
It's called "The Same Old Line", and you can listen to it at:

Input is greatly appreciated, so let me know what you think!
Cheers!
the song was good - but in the middle of it playing i got a virus warning on my computer and it stopped the track. not sure what happend but you may want to look into that :D
"I like to play that guitar. I have to stare at it while I'm playing it because I'm not very good at playing it."
Noel Gallagher (who took the words right out of my mouth)

A friend of mine complained of that too... it's an ad for antivirus software
After my friend complained, I've set up another site:

well, the vocalist is awesome, the guitar very tasteful in the instrumental bit, and the song is a good listen.
you should be proud of that recording!

Ok here are my impressions, take from them what you will.
I think that it could use a little tweaking here and there to give it a little more punch cuz as it is each section of the song, while not really bad in any way, just don't really get me really involved in the music. I think the guitar and bass should have been louder, which might help that. The solo was good but like I said overall I think something could be done to make it better. To be honest I think the drums need to be driving the song more, but then again I'm a big fan of drum solos and good tomwork.
All that being said, don't take any of it the wrong way. For your first original rock song its pretty good, and I don't claim to be any better of a musician (you can slander my music as well since I just posted a thread in here too lol) so I guess what I mean is keep at it. The more you jam with your band and the more you experiment and practice then the more you will rock out in the future.
Keep it up! :note1:
