SOLO..... ROCK..... GUITAR.....

I like how there is more rock to this than shred....you're on the edge of shred mania, but hold it back. I think that makes for good listening. sweet tones, man.

This really is superb playing its almost rock/jazz in places. Get an album out and I'll buy it, really good stuff and I raise my hat to you.

Have to agree with the guys. This is pretty immense playing!

Some really nice mix ups of different styles of playing/scales.

However there's a bit too much shredding for my personal liking. Even though I'm starting to drift towards that kind of sound!

I absolutely love the rhythm and lead between 45 secs and 52 secs and then the Rage Against the Machine sound between 52 and 57.

What astounds me is that it's pretty dry. A few more effects and it would all be very Buckethead/Morello-ey.

Great playing as usual. I hear a lot of influences there. Definitely shred though if you ask me. Leans toward fusion which is right up my alley. Nice work. This one is way more refined than the previous track you posted which was equally good. This one just has some really well thought out passages.

Dogbite............ I can,t really do (or want to) shred, I can play fast but the notes are what motivate me. But I can,t play fast big arps or sweep across all six strings. I hold the pick like a pen (Th, 1st & 2nd) so it moves around alot.(not good) But my fingering accommadates for that problem, that is the really great thing about guitar being able to play the same pitch in so many different areas of the neck.

Clazon............. Yep I do listen to all kinds of music and have played in many different kinds of bands.
"To much shredding"......... The solo was for a guitar competition so I had to play like that really.
"To dry".............. I couldn,t get the solo guitar to blend with the backing, yes I could have put lots of reverb on but I wanted the notes to leap out as it was for the competition. I recorded with the rev & delay for the vibe and on the mix had another delay that I was rideing up and down.

Thanks for listening....................... Its strange two people mention "Buckethead" because I don,t know any of his stuff. So I,ve just been watching him on YouTube and think he,s totally bonkers (in a good way) I can,t really say I can see anything of him in my playing (but I,m going to listen to some more of him.......his coordination is scary)
