These are in general acoustic songs only , and i wish , i had another guitarist with me or atleast more memory...Multitrack with one of the free programs (Audacity etc)?
Anyhoo, great work, keep it up :)
Hi Rahul
This is really good singing and guitar playing!
And to be a oneshot recordings, vow !
I think that Sweet child of mine is one the best as you really sing out with a feeling in your voice.
And sorry to hear your computers limitations...

Rahul, a question I listened to some of those songs yesterday. I noticed you get a nice soft tone from your guitar. When I try to play similar songs my timing is good and the patterns ok but I am getting tired of the bright tremble sound I get its harder to listen to. Is there something you can tell me to get a softer more pleasant sound, thanks
Hi Rahul
A complementing question to jonetoe´s .
What type of guitar are you using ? A nylonstringed classic acoustic ?
I could not find any info about that in all your GN posts.

Hey its amazing that you like the tone of my poor classical guitar (okay , not poor , just my baby )
Well ya.I am using a nylon string classical guitar and its a Yamaha C-70 restrung lefty.
My guitar is kinda tough to play because of the reversed saddle (which was originally meant for righty) and naturally it had high action.
I use a Sony stereo mic while recording...I think that gives good recording quality (with kinks due to my memory and pc limitations...)
I use Galli GR-60 Hard Tension strings and play with my hands.I still don't know how to play with a pick (and imo , a pick sounds terrible on a classical guitar...)
Hope this helps. It actually feels nice when people praise the sound of your 'only' guitar :D
AH, so thats a classical you've got, that explains alot. I strum with the back of my middle finger down and nail thumb up and I was thinkong of trying different ways. Maybe I should try a classical guitar for certain songs but I do use a pick for soloing to back tracks to. I should get a stereo mic too. I have a radio shack standard PC mic I paid thirty dollars for. Nice pic BTW
Rahul, you really sound good man! - thats all I can say cos its all been said :-) keep it up

P.S. - You may need to read the lyrics of this song along with listening to it.It would enable to understand it better.
Nice one! Holiday is the best. Green Day woo!!! :D
If you are an England fan, make (or add) this your signature.
Cool, you are a left-hander!

And yup , i am the resident lefty here.
I might record some more songs.Recording is pushing me again.Lets see...this time , i want to do a really favourite no. with leads.
Time shall tell :)
Rahul
Hey, I love your guitar, spot on.
But your vocals are another thing, im not to fond of your voice
but the mood of the song really makes a difference.
The vocals of Comfortably Numb and Sweet Child of Mine are not as good as your Country Roads and Holiday (This also may be because you've gotten better since though)
Yea Justin ... , i have felt an improvement in my singing since those earlier songs.Secondly now i am able to do better recordings thanks to my dad's laptop :D
sounded good and flowed good through out. That was rather brave of you to do that piece of vocals with no guitar
