I finally got my solo bit in for the newbie jam that Margaret
began months ago.
I posted a high res MP3 on soundclick.

my bit starts at 2:25 and goes to the end, at 3:16.

I like how it turned out. finding my tone by plugging into
an audio interface instead of an amp was an adjustment.

thanks margaret, for the invite. the experience is great.
ya, I know, I need to work on the attachment
to get it in the proper format..

Its a great thing when you realize you still have the ability to surprise yourself.

Yep, nice tone! I always think of you as a lap-steel player primarily - but that's some nice guitar. I had the same section - that end bit was tricky, but you got it OK!

:D :D :D

one really has helped the other.
when ever I grab my strat I get transported.
I love that guitar.

Top of the pile Dogbite, lovely feel on this. Funny how guitars can inspire, my old Strat always did just that and now the Godin does, I'm hoping when I get my '87 Epi Sheraton back it will do the same.

Nice job all round.

Pretty nice flow to it all.

It sounded confident and purposeful. I think I;ve been ranting about those qualities lately, but they really are the things that I'm aspiring towards at the moment. Means I'm going back and learning all the songs I know again from powertab to make sure that I have them down stone cold dead on. That extra bit of condifence should help if I decide to play them to friends or turn the amp up!

So yes. Definitely enjoyed that.
