A pretty straight forward arrangement of the great Scott Joplin ragtime standard. I'm using a Martin 000-18GE. Thanks so much for watching, dale.

Great! Congrats!

It sounds very nice. Really I can not say anymore, I like very much! Did you do the arrangement for guitar?

Thanks for sharing.

I've probably told this story too many times but here it goes again. It was a country music festival in my home town. The festival had actually gotten quiet big and some big names were coming out to play. Anyway, I walked into the local guitar shop and this old man was playing this song. I stood and listened for a while. And when he finished I applauded him saying "That was really good! How did you learn that?". He answered well I'm sure (Shop owner. I can't remember his name) could teach you the song. To which I replied "You should make records! You're really good.". At which point the shop owner proceeded to scold me. " What's wrong with you? Don't you know who this is?" The old man was quite calm "Oh it's alright, these young people don't know about old folks like me anymore. That's ok." (I was probably 16 at the time.). The store owner proceeded to show me a back issue of Guitar Player Magazine on the cover of which was this old man who's name happened to be Chet Atkins. lol What a dufus I was! I'm still as clueless.

At any rate, real nice playing. I have yet to learn that song and I doubt I'd ever be able to play it as well as you do. Nice job.

great story! So cool and what a neat glimpse into the kindness of Chet! Did you get an autograph? I do miss him - that is one great story. Thanks for your kind words, dale.

I was too embarrassed and stupid to get an autograph. When you know everything it's tough to see that you're a total idiot.

Sure.....I can stew on that for a while.

Beautiful playing !!

You have a low D obviously - but is it standard tuning otherwise (DADGBE) ?

Hey Dale

That was great. I just can't believe how many songs you have recorded - how do you remember them all ...

I remember always wanting to play that song on the piano as a kid - I think I tried once... It whisked me back to less stressful times.

Rock on!

D 8)

I'm nowhere near Chicago. I've got six string, 8 fingers, two thumbs, it's dark 'cos I'm wearing sunglasses - Hit it!
