Hey mon! We got smoking guitars, maybe we smokin' de herb too, irie! 8)

Here are six players all lined up with some easy skanking reggae for you. Each section is right around one minute, and forum members appear in the following order:

1. Smokindog - love the funky envelope effect
2. Slejhamer - dat me mon!
3. RParker - wild with the auto wah wah, yeah
4. Dogbite - Iron like a Lion in Zion; dig the sounds and the playing
5. Dan T - happy rocking with Dan; makes you swing your arms and dance
6. Celt - slipping in a mellow groove, taking us down nice and steady into the close

Dat a mi bredda!

Smokindog: Cool effects! You also used a kind of reverse delay?
Slejhamer: Yuh guitar sounds good, mon!
RParker: The wah is the reggae!
Dogbite: Or Lionbite? Your solo reminds to me some Marley riffs...
DanT: Tone perfect for reggae!
Celt: Smooth, very smooth!

Well done!

This was a very cool colab jam. Thanks for doing/hosting this, 'Slej.

dogbote, now the thought of some poor soul opening up a strange MP3 seems even funnier to me.

I sat on my hands on this just hoping someone would share with the group what they were doing. I'd not used any Wah before this except when just running through effects to see what they sounded like. I finally said to heck with it and did it.

Nice playing everyone. Thanks for letting me join in again. :D

Great Jam Everyone!

I was away over the weekend and only got to listen to this closely just now.
Seems everybody had quite a different take on this one.

Thanks For Hosting Slej

It was a hoot! Thanks to everyone for their contributions!

Hey, it's 100 degrees out now and disgustingly humid, so if someone's looking to cool off, Celt's summer jazz collab needs a final player:
