Check this out-it's a live recording of myself playng guitar, my dad playing bass, and my uncle playing drums that we made a while back. One note: i had to put it in low quality since i didn't have much time to upload. Also, sadly, there are no vocals. Anyway, let me know what you think:

Awesome job, nice rhythm, nice lead work. Great 'cover'. Inspiring to me as a huge Clapton fan.

Vocals are there, but very hard to hear. I'd love to hear this again in better quality.

For the intro bit, it may sound better played an octave higher, OR with someone singing the notes as you play the chords.

Again, great improving, good job with it all. Loved it.

P.S.
Let me say again, I loved it.

Yeah. Too bad the recording wasn't a little bit better. Did you do that on four track? Sounds like tape to me. Unfortunately it doesn't translate well to mp3. Nice soloing.Real natural sounding. Like you're not trying to be Clapton just embelishing on the song. You guys play well together. Thanks for sharing that. I thouroughly enjoyed it. 8)

Or with a 10 piece stringed instrument section....

Well actually, those "vocals" are just as a guide, since none of us can sing very well. As far as quality, it was recorded in very good quality on a computer(audacity) with no internet connection, and in order to transfer it, I had to put it in bad quality so that it would be small enough. Also, the cheap mics that I used crapped out a little on the lower, loud notes of the bass. Luckily, the drums were directly connected, so they sounded alright. Oh well.
Yoyo, the wah was a regular dunlop crybaby. I'm glad that you guys liked it.
More recordings to come-perhaps Grand Funk's "Are You Ready?" next...

I just love it when people do that song! It's one of my favorites actually. Good job on it. I've eq'd the bass a little so I can tune in on the bass line; your dad can play too, and so can the uncle.

Good wah-work too man :)

You guys took it off that one live version huh. I love it.

Take care :)

Well, actually it's kinda our own arrangement. I was just referring to the fact that there isn't any overdubbing.

Well yah, but I love that last part where it sorta goes crazy and then comes to the big finish.

Good job on it!
