I uploaded to Audacity a jam I had recorded. unfortunately it is too long for one CD burn. is there a way I can break the long upload into smaller sections. I am a bit new to Audacity and some of the icons are confusing.
any help?

Wow that must've been a long jam!

The only way I can think of doing it is using that I-bar looking icon (like a text cursor), use the Ctr + 3 to reduce the view of the track so you can see it end to end, and then highlight from the beginning to maybe 60 minutes or so, using that ruler on the top as a guidline. Then use Save Selection As, and save just that part as an MP3 using a different name, and then do the same for the remaining parts until you have them all saved off.

A regular Cd is about 80 minutes, so you could save them off in chunks of 80 minutes (or 75 just to make sure), and go from there.
