i think the title pretty much explains itself. i got a burnt version from a friend, and ive tried a few times putting it on my laptop, but i can install the full version but it never opens!!!! i can click on it all day with no results. HELP!!!!!

If he gave you a copy of the demo version, you might want to see if there's an updated version on the fruity loop site.
If it's a pirated full version you're having problems with, too bad. There's enough free alternatives out there to try. Go find one.
