so im in grade 11 and taking a course call music and computers. We use Logic Pro 7 on Macs for our work. I knew it was a very powerful piece of software before i took the course, and I still believe it is, but i feel dissapointed in a way too. Some of the tools and windows seem so "dummed down" and ridiculous. Does anybody else find this? I really like the program but i feel their is somethning unproffesional about it.

Can't say Ive used it personally but my guitar teacher uses it and swears by it. He's been in the industry for a number of years so I'm not going to question his judgement.
It looks pretty good to me, but as I said I haven't actually used it myself.
Which tools in particular are you refering to?
