alright, heres my story
I'm a rock/blues/country guitarist and I have been asked to produce an R/B rap cd for a couple of guys here on base. The guy that owns the studio stuff is getting deployed and he as asked me to help out these couple of guys. I havent really messed with his setup but I know the programs he uses are audacity and fruity loops. Does anyone know anywhere I could find some information in using fruity loops. I've played with it a little but it is really complicated. Also, any ideas for getting the right sound. Ive been listening to a lot of RB the past couple of days to get the feel. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance
Micheal

Here's the FL site. http://www.flstudio.com/English/frames.html

On the right, under Shortcuts, there's a link to Tutorials; that might help, though I don't know if it's the version you have.

Good luck and let us know how it goes :)

Its good to get out of ones box once in a while  I'm a blues /classic rock/Traditional Country kind of guy myself  To me R&B is like Motown, 60's rhythm and blues. I think its possible to incorporate any type of music into rap. We would love to hear the results of this effort 8) --ken

BTW my nephew is going to Germany next month( he just got done with basic) he's in the Army.He plays metal and Classical. ( pvt. Tod Boone)
