Hello,
I have been mucking about recording some guitar parts with Audacity and was now thinking about filling out the sound a bit with maybe some drum sounds and other samples.
A quick google search of free drum loops leaves me overwhelmed so I thought I would ask around here to see if anyone knew of a good place to start to download free drum loops and other samples (keyboards, bell sounds anything really). I kinda like folky sounding music so was really after some subtle drum and other sounds, but to be honest I enjoy mucking about with all kinds of music so any links would be appreciated.
Any help would be appreciated please.
Cheers
Mat
Computer Music Magazine has a DVD full of samples and stuff with each issue. I think it's £5.99 UK.

That's a really good source. Plus all the free software is a bargain.
http://www.acidplanet.com is good for 8 every week.
Check out HammerHead. It's free, and you can come up with any kind of loops you want.

Cheers for the help folks.
I had actually already brought the Computer Music magazine (for the first time) and it was the CD that came with this that whetted my appetite for finding/creating/manipulating loops and the like.
I'm beginning to notice though that I am wasting hours fiddling with different sounds without really achieving much; valuable time that could probably be better spent practicing on the guitar, so I will have to use these links sparingly!
