Hey guys,

I just checked woot and today they have some external soundcard thingy that's supposed to be a good deal. I'm not sure if it would work well for recording or not, but I thought I'd let everyone know if they want to go take a look:

http://www.woot.com/

It's a Creative Soundblaster Audigy 2 Platinum eX Sound Card. $110 + $5 shipping.

run do not walk , away from creative products.
if you want it for gaming and listening to audio players then they work fine but if you plan to get into recording then i would advise this http://www.musiciansfriend.com/srs7/g=home/search/detail/base_pid/701341/

I have a soundblaster audigy ex and love it. Actually that exact model.

I also have a GB of ram and a fast processor.

If I was choosing between the two today, I'd go for the M-Audio though.
