If your delay has stereo outs (2) wet and (2) dry connect them to four channels on the recording console and record them as individual tracks. Using the dry signal for monitoring the playing and maybe add it in later at mix down if desired. The part you want to use is the wet signal with the panning set off center. With some frequency modulation rate and depth, use a slow rate and deep sweep. Wave shaping can add a little more realism.

There is more than one form of wave shaping. an input of a wave having a changing frequency yields inharmonic partials and formant structures. multi-mode filters, envelope generators, Filtering (lowpass, highpass, band pass, notch, allpass, parametric EQ, shelving EQ, 2 pole, 4 pole), Resonance, Continuous Panning, Amplitude Modulation, Crossfade, Distortion, Digital Wrap, Waveshaping, Pulse Width Modulation, High Frequency Enhancement, Low Frequency Oscillation, Hard Sync Oscillation, Mixing Oscillation, lag processor, tracking generators, and a host of other things.

From a musician's point of view is an effect including any one or layered use of reverb, delay, chorus, flange, multitap, graphic EQ, Pitch Bend, Octave transpose, ring modulation, detune, Aural Exciter, rotating speaker simulator, this is just an example of whats out there to be innovative with.

Think synthesizer circuits, electronic oscillators which produce the basic tones in the form of sine waves, square-waves, or triangular “sawtooth” waves, and can be controlled by sending the oscillator a signal voltage. Then the tones can be shaped or through another bank of “filter” circuits to customize the sound or “timbre” of the tone.

Voltage-Controlled Lag Processor works with control voltages rather than audio signals. The Lag Processor smooths out variations in the voltage level so that quick changes occur at a speed ranging from one millisecond to one second.

Stereo outs left and right. pan them off center of the sound field, the left more to the left and right more to the right. it creates the illusion of widening the sound field.

A harmonic partial is a frequency component that is an integer multiple of the fundamental frequency. An inharmonic partial is a multiple of the fundamental that has a fractional part. Instruments with less clear pitch, like church bells, drums or cymbals, have predominantly inharmonic partials.

Thats when your Windows Pc crashes and you didn't back things up on a CDR. Losing everything, a person then goes into whats known as Digital warp.
