I'd appreciate any and all help folks...
I have a Tascam Porta Studio 4-Track, a Yamaha mixer, and a studio condenser mic. I can currently record onto a tape but I need to be able to create cd's. My computer is capable and has a cd burner. My questions are these...
Is there any way I can bring the live audio from the Tascam to the computer?
What software is needed?
What are the hardware specifications needed for the pc?

look at this site for ideas.
I had a friend with a pedal steel guitar, a mixer, a computer with a recording program. he couldn't figure out how to connect everything. that site helped him.
