Greetings Guitar Noise,
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves. We are Moniker Guitars located in the live music capital of the world Austin, TX. We are an online custom guitar manufacturer. What exactly does that mean? You go onto our site, design your dream guitar and we make it at our shop to your chosen specs and ship it in 4 weeks!

What makes Moniker different?

Customization - With our online configurator you can select every aesthetic element on your guitar. You can do everything from mix & matching hardware colors to adding text and graphics (you want your name on the headstock, we will paint your name on the headstock!). There are currently more than 32 billion combinations, add any custom text and your guitar is without a doubt 1 of 1. We offer many hardware, pickup and tuner options from the industries leading manufacturers (Seymour Duncan, TV Jones, Schaller, Bigsby etc..) We also offer both gloss and satin finishes and varying degrees of relic'ing. Check out our See Page https://monikerguitars.com/see/ for a glimpse of some guitars that have recently left the shop.

Turnaround Time - Orders ship within 4 weeks of the date of purchase! We ship internationally and every Moniker guitar comes in a beautiful black hardshell case which you can also customize with text & graphics. To ensure quality, we manufacture as much of the guitar as possible in house. We have harnessed many paint & coating technologies used in other fields to allow for vibrant paint schemes and a rock hard fully cured UV clear coat on every guitar. We also offer a 0% interest payment plan that divides your cost into 6 easy monthly payments.

Community - Since day 1 (3 years ago) we have made it our mission to be involved with both our local and online community. We cater to everyone from the international touring musician to the bedroom/basement/garage noodler.
If you have any question, call and we will answer or email and we will respond. Need some help making the final decisions on your guitar? reach out and we will be happy to talk you through it. We love getting the phonecalls asking what pickups pair best with certain body styles to obtain that certain tone that you are looking for.
If your band is playing in Austin, we encourage you to stop by the shop (conveniently located 3 miles south of downtown Austin on South Congress Ave) and see the facility and nerd out about guitars over a beer with us.
We also maintain an active role in the local Austin music scene. Some events that we have been part of in the last year include:
- Austin City Limits Festival. We have a booth in the Art Market each year featuring shapes/woodtops/paint that are not available on the website.
- FunFunFun Fest. We host the Guitar Hospital where people can bring their guitars by for a re-string, electrical work, fret level free of charge.
- HandPlayed. An event that we hosted where 12 local Austin artists painted on our guitars and were auctioned off with all proceeds going towards the Austin Music Foundation
- Austin City Limits 40th Anniversary Celebration.

In the upcoming months, we have many exciting additions coming to the website. We will be launching our line of bass guitars in September. After thousands of emails asking if we made basses, we started the R&D about a year ago and couldn't be happier with the results. There will be multiple body shapes with the option of solid, chambered or semi-hollow (w/ F Hole).

We also thought this post would be perfect timing as last week on Conan a Moniker Guitar made its national television debut in the hands of Mike Olsen with Lake Street Dive. Mike's seafoam Dixie model features locking tuners, a Bigsby B5 and TV Jones pickups. Watch and listen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FZmv5eauQFQ
