I have incurable G.A.S. and so I'm always trying to rework my pedalboard. I'm also a programmer so I'm working on a "Pedalboard Planner" website that will let me set up a board with pedals and rearrange them to my hearts content then save it as an image. I would love some feedback on what I've got so far. There are instructions at the bottom of the page and a bunch of pedals in the list so far. I'm gonna add more.

Right now it is only for browsers other than internet explorer, but I'm working on that. Firefox 3.5, Chrome or Safari should work fine.

Some of the next features will be a way to hook up cables and rotate pedals.

Haha, what a cool idea. Site looks very nice, I guess my only recommendation would be to get real product images for each pedal, but that doesn't even matter much, the site does the job its supposed to.

So lots of new real images of pedals available! I've been trying to get permission from vendors before using their images. Until then I use my own cheesy ones for some pedals :)

IE users, I have limited functionality in my next major revision for you. Its not perfect, but it works ( IE does not natively support HTML CANVAS, so it is using the version of canvas google wrote so that google maps would work in IE ) Also pedal rotation will be supported in the next version.

Also I have my first sponsor coming on board! so in the next week or so, I will be moving to the next version with their sponsorship! More on that later. But I think it's pretty cool.

Ok, Thanks to Google Chrome Frame, you should be able to use Pedalboard Planner in IE now (you have to install the plugin)

Pedalboard Planner is now brought to you by Pedaltrain! Check out how your pedals would fit on Pedaltrain's various models and find the right fit for your gear!

Hi JohnnyGizmo; that's a helpful site. Since you've only got Pedaltrain boards, any chance of posting the dimensions for those boards on your site? It would help in the planning; also those of us with non-PT boards could have a reference point for comparison.

Gabba Gabba Hey, I've added the sizes in the drop down list. Hope that helps! Thanks for your input!
