A friend of mine showed me this site

http://www.zagerguitar.com

This guy apparently takes the basic martin guitars "templates" from the shop that produces them and customizes them for easier play. They also run about 50% less than a Martin. Has anyone bought or tried these guitars and have an opinion on them? I was contemplating getting a Martin or Taylor but if this turns out to play about the same I may go this route.

If someone already posted a review about this guitar can you send the link, since there is no search functionality at the moment. I posted in a different forum and didn't get much response.

Theyre not real martins. They're martin sigma's. Kinda like Squier is to Fender or Epi is to Gibson.

I was just curious if anyone tried them. I'm on the fence of paying $600 for a guitar that "may" be ok, or just shell out a little more and get something that I know is good quality, like a Taylor or a Martin. They do provide a guarentee, which includes paying for shipping.

The other thing is I have issues with my hand cramping up and dying in the middle of a set. I know, it's probably is technique and just lack of practice, but I thought that this may help.

The ad in his website seems deceptive to me. That's would be enough to keep me from buying one.

I dunno, I think I smell BS. The guy says they're the greastest things in the world, but I know that its really just a fancy setup.... :? I dunno, maybe thats just me....
