Thanks, scr@tchy, but this is just a hobby interest to me. Have you been over to the Music Electronics Forum yet? I got a scare when I mentioned it last week and couldn't get on, but it must've been a temporary server glitch. http://music-electronics-forum.com/ There are guys on there who build and mod amps for pro players all day, every day, and can be enormously helpful to you. I learned a lot of what I know about amps from those guys when it was on the old Ampage site. Wish there were archives of that stuff!

Thanks for that link Ricochet, I saved it into my favorites I'll be in there over the weekend . The Fender forum won't let me sign up with a free email account like hotmail or yahoo, but I've been going there to read from time to time... thanks for the help Moonrider.

Hey Ricochet, I have been trying to register at the music electronics forum and I'm a little embarrassed to say that I keep failing the entrance exam. The question is "What brand of guitar amplifiers is associated with Leo Fender?"... I keep answering "Fender" and it won't accept that. Ah, what is the answer? It didn't say model it says brand... and that's Fender right? I may have passed to a new level of idiocy, it sometimes happens and this is sort of how I find out... I just stop knowing certain things. Pops up at strange times, one time I was at dinner and I forgot how to use a fork. I just put my face down in my food and stayed like that until everyone was gone.

Ok nevermind, I got in. I had to capitalize it. I'm in. I am still officially at the same level of idiocy.

Try this, go to this site:

Put the URL into the field that says "Surf now!" and it should let you get there.
