Boss Mega Distortion for strat with tube amp

Yes, an EQ pedal will help *a lot*. If you're not sure get a cheaper one. I'm using a Behringer (duh) EQ700 (19-) and it's a pretty nifty clone of the boss. Only difference is that the Boss is a whole lot sturdier so don'tstart throwing your pedals around. Stepping on it is no problem but don;'t do crazy jumps on it or anything. This will allow you to experiment around and see if it does what you need.
