Ok I need some help out of all the sound I do for people I still don't like my compression on the kick drum and snare, it sounds good but still not too tight like i want it.

SO!!!!!!! What are some of the settings you use for your compression and or any new ideas i haven't thought of yet. I have a show this weekend I'm looking into trying something new?

Compressors can be your best friend or your worst enemy. When learning how to record I started by finding sample compression settings such as these: http://www.breakbeat-cafe.net/compressor%20settings.htm

Then I experimented until my ears told me it sounded good. Have fun.
