Public Address Acquisition Syndrome
In just the last 6 months I have bought an amplifier, 2 subwoofers, a dual 31 band EQ, a crossover, 8 space rack case, 3 mics, 10 mic cables, 3 speaker cables, a Behringer Shark, and numerous other adapters, cables, etc....
That is in addition to all the PA gear I already owned.
And I'm not near finished yet, I want another amp, compressor/limiter, and vocal effects processor..........
Being a PA junky is even more hopeless than being a guitar junky! 8)

No, I am someone who knows a little about PAs.
A great site to learn about PAs is Scotts PA Tutorial. It has a very nice message board with super helpful people who can answer almost any question. That is where I learned most of what I know.
Yorkville, Peavey, and Mackie also have great info about running sound on their sites as well.
Sound is really a super interesting subject! :D
