I'm thinking about getting an eq effect for a small tube amp I have. The reason being is that I could boost the overall level in order to overload the input more, and then I could shape the tone with the fequency-specific sliders. Do any of you know good, and relatively cheap EQs? I don't need anything really fancy, but a nice good quality one would be excellent. Thanks.

There's three that come to mind MRX 10, MXR 6, and Boss GE-7 any of them will work. The MXR KFK1 Kerry King 10-Band Equalizer has dual outputs that would allow you to run two amps at once or other signal paths. If your wanting Rack Mounted ART 341 dual 15 can be used in many different ways. Like using one side before the input and the other in the effects loop.
