Okay so I just started playing and so on and I ( of course ) first bought the wah pedal now I wanmt to have that kind of grunge distortion something that can give me that 'ole teen sprirt feeling have any ideas, thanx in advance , yall have already helped me a whole lot.

there is a pedal from DOD made from grunge type sound
you can get any regular distortion or over drive pedal
have the drive at about 20% the bass high and the treb high and that would do the trick.
I think the Boss MT2 and MD2 will serve you right. They both go from 'rather heavy' to 'pure metal'.
Just get a good Tube amp, or get the Marshall Jackhammer. Don't get the DoD grunge, it is not a good pedal

We are facing a bduget of +-40$, as he said elsewhere. I doubt you can get a proper tube amp for that :D
Oh, maybe its just me, but tube distortion doesnt really sound grunge to me. Those transistort-distortions sounds from pedals is much more like it, IMHO.
