Hey guys, I currently own a Peavey 6505+ Combo amp. Today I tried out Jamup Pro XT on my iphone for the first time, I must say it was awesome. So I started watching tons of youtube videos about it and came across a few people that practice with it, record and play live. They use a griffin stompbox that allows them to switch between presets and activate a mod, overdrive and etc. Then also plugged into the stompbox is a expression pedal which you can choose in the app to use as a volume or wah pedal. This is all run through their ipad then through a active PA speaker. I am considering ditching the amp and doing this. Am I crazy or what? I think I just need some people to tell me if I am crazy or if this is a good idea.

On a side note. Would the active PA speaker such as this http://www.musiciansfriend.com/pro-audio/behringer-eurolive-b212d-active-pa-speaker-system be too loud to use as a practice amp.

Thank You.
