I got one of these acoustic pre-amps. But to be honest the user manual is not that good.
I would like to know how to set this damn pre amp up.
I have a metallic resonator.

Well, here's the manual you already have.

http://www.lrbaggs.com/manuals/para_di_manual.pdf

For setup, you go from your guitar into the input, then come out of output to go into your instrument in on your guitar amp or mixer.

This pedal also has an effects loop. You need a special 1/4" stereo plug (male on both ends). You plug one end into the pedal, the other plugs into the female jack of the Y cable. The other end of the Y cable will be two 1/4" mono male jacks. The tip jack goes to the input of your effect (s), the other to the output of your effects(s).

Make sure the female jack of the Y cable is stereo. But the male jacks will each be mono. You can get adapters like this at Radio Shack and other electronic stores.

When using this effects loop, you still go from your guitar to the input on the pedal, and come out of the output on the pedal to go into your guitar amp or mixer.

Hope that helped.
